Fort Eisenhower officials say 'family member' died on post, Army investigating

Officials at Fort Eisenhower have confirmed the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division is investigating after a recent death on post.

While unclear when the individual died, officials confirmed the person was a "family member" of someone on base and died on the installation.

"As the investigation is in progress, no additional information can be provided at this time," said Anne H. Bowman, deputy public affairs officer at Fort Eisenhower.
