Fort Worth restaurant adds barbecue stand along the Trinity River trail in Clearfork
F1 Smokehouse BBQ open in Clearfork
Hey, Bud! Did I see a new barbecue trailer over by Clearfork where Flores was?
—Ronnie, Fort Worth

Arlington next for Dave’s Hot
Hey, Bud! Went to Dave’s Hot Chicken. It was good but a long way for me. Any more locations?
—Roy, Mansfield
Dave’s, a California-based chain of “Nashville hot” chicken restaurants, is building in south Arlington at 4908 S. Cooper St. The current Dave’s is at 4608 Bryant Irvin Road.
Like what you see? Wait a week
Hey, Bud! I went to that new restaurant you wrote about. It was crowded and service was awful.
—Every week
Yes, I know. Never go to a crowded restaurant — at least, unless you’re willing to wait it out. In particular, never go to a restaurant the same day it’s mentioned here. (I’d give it a week.) Crowded restaurants are way short on help right now, so please be long on patience.
