Forums planned to hire BCPS superintendent

A new Baltimore County school superintendent could be hired in what some may call record time. The Baltimore County Board of Education hired a search firm on March 1, and members said the board is very much on track to fill the job very soon. Jane Lichter, the board's chairwoman, told 11 News they're confident that the district can have a superintendent in place by July 1. A national search is officially underway to replace Darryl Williams, who announced in January that he would not seek a second term. His term ends June 30.
