Foundation awards more than $600K in scholarships

The Holmes County Education & Community Foundation announced $226,975** in new scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year. Additionally, $536,975** was available to renewing scholarship recipients. Award amounts vary according to need and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

HCECF has been encouraging further education for Holmes County residents by awarding more than $11.4 million in scholarships and grants to more than 2,800 students since 1991.

HCECF has selected the following first-year applicants to receive scholarships. The recipients and their scholarship awards are listed below:

The scholarship application period for the 2024-2025 academic year will begin in Januar. Scholarship applications will be made available through the foundation’s website at www.hcef.net.
