Four Caprock wrestlers sign college commitments on Wednesday afternoon

Caprock had four wrestlers sign their collegiate Letters of Intent on Wednesday afternoon.

Two-time 119-pound state champion Tatiana Garcia signed to William Penn University locate in Oskaloosa, Iowa, after concluding her final two years at Caprock with an unblemished 66-0 record.

Niyasia McCampbell will be taking her grappling skills to Lakewood University in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, after developing into one of the top 185-pound wrestlers in Texas over her final two years. She ended her high school career as the state runner-up in her weight class.

On the boys side, Porter Traves has signed to Bethany College while Josiah Pina will be attending and competing at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.

Pina was the state runner-up in the 120-pound weight class this past season while Traves competed in the state tournament but failed to medal.
