Four queen, two king candidates will vie to be top royalty at Holmes County Fair

The royalty at the 100th Holmes County Fair will be selected from among four queen and two king candidates. The fair takes place Aug. 7-12 at Harvest Ridge in Millersburg.

The coronation ceremony will take place at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, in the large arena.

The queen candidates

The four candidates for queen are:

Dakota Ringlwalt
Dakota Ringlwalt

− Dakotah Ringwalt from Brinkhaven. She is a West Holmes High School graduate and an incoming freshman at the University of Kentucky. Her parents are Brad and Kathy Ringwalt. She is a member of West Holmes FFA and Killbuck Handy Helpers 4-H Club.

Alysa Pringle
Alysa Pringle

− Alysa Pringle of Big Prairie. She is a West Holmes High School graduate and an incoming freshman at Wilmington College. Her parents are Dennis and Virginia Pringle. She is a member of Holmes County Junior Fair Board, West Holmes FFA and Prime Cuts 4-H Club.

Keira Howard
Keira Howard

− Keira Howard of Wooster. She will be a junior at Waynedale High School. Her parents Mandy Brown and Rod Howard. She is a member of Buckeye 4-H Club.

Madison Scheetz
Madison Scheetz

− Madison Scheetz of Lakeville. She is an incoming junior at Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center. Her parents Ashley Yoder and Jeremy Scheetz. She is a member of West Holmes FFA and Doughty Valley 4-H Club.

− Garrett Fowler of Big Prairie. He will be a junior at West Holmes High School. His parents are Mike and Jessica Fowler. He is a member of Holmes County Junior Fair Board, West Holmes FFA and Nashville Jolly Farmers.

Alex Pringle
Alex Pringle

− Alex Pringle of Big Prairie. He is an incoming junior at West Holmes High School. His parents are Dennis and Virginia Pringle. He is a member of Holmes County Junior Fair Board, West Holmes FFA and Prime Cuts 4-H Club.
