Four new retailers coming to Westfarms mall
Four new retailers are coming to Westfarms, the mall announced Friday.
The new additions to the mall that sits on the line of Farmington, West Hartford and New Britain, include a luxury Italian brand, a yoga attire store, a sneaker and streetware brand and a Pizza Hut.
Intimissimi,, is an Italian lingerie brand that also sells pajamas for both men and women. " The unmistakable Italian style satisfies the desires and needs of all women seeking comfort, performance, and quality, without sacrificing glamour,” a release from Westfarms says.
The 600-square-foot store will be on the upper level of the Nordstorm wing and will open this spring.
Alo Yoga, which sells “premium yoga attire” will open a 5,500-square-foot store on the upper level off the center court. It is slated to open the store — the brand’s first in Connecticut — in the fall.
A Sneaker City, which Westfarms calls “an emerging brand dubbed as New York’s number one spot to shop sneakers and streetware,” will open a 1,900-square-foot location on the lower level in the Nordstrom wing this spring. The retailer specializes in hard-to-find sneakers.
Pizza Hut will open this week in the mall’s center court.
The mall is in the midst of a two large construction projects to make way for the home furnishings brand Arhaus, which will open a 9,700-square-foot, two-story location, and a 125,000-square-foot Jordan’s Furniture, which sells furniture and mattresses. The Arhaus will be the company’s first Connecticut location; Jordan’s Furniture has an immense building in New Haven.
H&M has been renovating its space in the mall and is expected to reopen in the spring.
