Clemson, which has enjoyed unprecedented success in recruiting highly regarded quarterbacks under Coach Dabo Swinney, missed out on Class of 2024 four-star quarterback Walker White on Friday.

White, of Little Rock, Arkansas, picked Auburn over Clemson and Baylor, leaving the Tigers with at least a temporary quarterback void to fill in its 2024 recruiting class.

A coveted recruit from Little Rock Christian Academy, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound White is ranked as the No. 1 2024 prospect in the state, the No. 13 quarterback nationally and the No. 142 recruit overall, according to the 247Sports composite.

Clemson was favored to land White, according to 247Sports.
