Soul Writers' Guild annual book fair

6 p.m., Evansville African-American Museum, 579 S Garvin St. Free.

A book fair for all ages, featuring special guest Author Brandon Darrett of Evansville.

'She Kills Monsters'

Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., Bosse High School, 1300 Washington Ave. Tickets are $15.

This drama/comedy follows Agnes Evans, a young woman who loses her family to a car accident and embarks on a journey to know more about her sister by playing a Dungeons & Dragons module she had written prior to her death.

Shakespeare Players: 'The Winter’s Tale'

Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., STAGEtwo at 321, 321 N. Congress Ave. Tickets are $12.

Considered one of Shakespeare's greatest plays, "The Winter's Tale" is a story of rebirth and redemption after one jealous king accuses his wife of infidelity with his best friend, another king. That accusation set off a series of tragic events that evolves into a fantastical journey.
