Lyle Lovett is coming to Peoria on June 23. The composer and singer — who has won four Grammy Awards and has earned the Trailblazer award from the American Music Association — will perform with his Large Band at the Peoria Civic Center Theater.

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. and Lovett will perform songs from his latest album, “12th of June.” The album received praise from The Wall Street Journal for Lovett’s ability to bring together a variety of “moods and sounds into one place.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 7 and can be purchased in person at the Toyota Box Office or virtually through Ticketmaster. According to the Civic Center’s event page, tickets start at $60.

Lovett debuted in 1986 and has gone on to release over a dozen albums.

“His works, rich and eclectic, are some of the most beloved of any artist working today,” noted the Peoria Civic Center’s event information.
