Fourth continuous closure begins along I-376 and Route 18 interchange
POTTER TWP. – As crews continue to pave high-traffic exits along the Interstate 376 and Route 18 interchange, another closure will shift traffic patterns in the area.
PennDOT has announced crews from Lindy Paving will continue with paving in the interchange, now requiring the closure of the ramp from eastbound I-376 to Route 18 from 5 a.m. Thursday to the evening of May 20. This closure will require motorists traveling eastbound along I-376 to proceed to the Center Township exit and loop back to the Potter Township interchange to access Route 18.
Third closure: Third closure of I-376 and Route 18 interchange scheduled to begin Monday morning
This will be the fourth closure of exit ramps in the area, with three previous closures restricting motorists' access to the two major roadways as crews from Lindy Paving conduct paving and milling. The third closure, which has continuously prevented traffic traveling southbound on Route 18 from using the Pittsburgh exit at the interchange, is currently scheduled for completion on May 17.

For the new closure, PennDOT has posted the following detour:
Continue eastbound on I-376 past the closed ramp
From eastbound I-376, take the Center (Exit 42) off-ramp
Turn left onto Pleasant Drive
Take the ramp for West I-376 toward New Castle/Beaver
Follow westbound I-376 back to the Monaca/Shippingport interchange
Take the ramp Route 18 Monaca/Shipportport (Exit 39) off-ramp
