FOWL PLAY: Wild Turkey Creates A Mess After Breaking Into Girl's Playroom And Escaping By Smashing Window

Cops were shocked to be deployed to a family's home where an "unbelievably wild" turkey caused a mess after breaking into a child's playroom. Responding officers reported they had never expected anything like it when a woman identified as Courtney Sebastian called 911 and reported the odd incident on Monday evening, 3rd October 2022. She reportedly said that a turkey had entered her daughter's room after breaking the huge basement window in their home in Miami Township, in Clermont County, Ohio, USA.The woman said: "It was insane, the noise, because the window pane is huge. "We ended up seeing him behind the couch. I mean, these turkeys are, like, four feet tall, so we just hurried up and closed the door so he wouldn’t get out."He was just trying to fly out a minute ago, but the window is like half-broken down toward the bottom, there are like shards sticking out, so I don’t think he can get out."Police crews immediately came on site to tame the wild animal that had destroyed most of the family's belongings. Bodycam footage posted by the police on Facebook showed the turkey attempting to escape after Courtney's father wrangled it into a net at around 6pm. Courtney told one of the officers: "The window broke. It flew through the window."I feel so bad for it. It's probably hurt."But then the bird quickly freed itself and went back into the room before it escaped outside by crashing the window. Miami Township Police said: "This was unbelievably wild!! "Police Officers get calls for everything, but this was the first time we've been dispatched for wild turkey breaking into a house and then breaking out."Courtney Sebastian commented on the video: "Thank god for my Dad! He saved the day!!! The officer was very friendly and helped us board up the windows!!!"
