Fowler commentary: Is Marxism really what Americans want?

They told us who they were and what they intended to do. Barack Obama told us he was going to “fundamentally change America.” His intent was to change America into a Marxist country, but we didn’t understand what he meant. Joe Biden told us that he was going to be “the most progressive president” we had ever known, but we didn’t know that he was simply going to follow Obama’s plan. We didn’t know that Biden was a Marxist as well. After all, with forty years of living off tax payers’ dollars, (capitalists’ dollars), how could he be against capitalism? Besides, who would have thought that candidates for the presidency of the United States were enemies of the state? Such had never happened before, at least never with mainstream politicians. Yet, we have two presidents whose purpose is to displace the most benevolent country, most wealthy country, and most prosperous citizens, with an oppressive dictatorial form of government that has destroyed the lives of billions of people with the motto, “Government knows best.”

We have seen the results of that belief in the Soviet Union (Russia), Valenzuela, Cuba, and others—death, poverty, misery, authoritarianism, et al; and, with Biden, mandates to buy electric vehicles and to discard gas stoves. Under Biden, people must go to jail if they don’t support a specific party, be willing to ignore the laws of the country, etc. Is this what Americans really want?

I am familiar with a student who recently took a mandated college course in a Texas university. The professor was an avowed Marxist. The student is philosophically opposed to Marxism. During the progress of the course, the professor assigned a paper in which the student was to explain how Israel is to blame for the war with Gaza. The professor’s reasoning is the worn-out argument that “the conflict did not begin on October 7 but began much earlier.” His argument is that the Palestinians have “engaged in peaceful protests for decades, only to be met with the most brutal violence and repression.” I will let the reader determine the truth of these statements.

The student decided to write a rebuttal to the professor’s argument by going to the historical persecution of the Jews over the centuries prior to 1948, before the state of Israel was formed by the British and allied forces. The student received a low grade on the paper with the comment that she wasn’t given the grade because she did not agree with the professor but because she didn’t answer the question. As often happens, the professor, as do all Marxists, can’t defend their ideological rubbish when challenged. Why should she write a paper that contradicted one of her fundamental beliefs?

In an earlier assignment, the professor asked his students to write a paper demonstrating how capitalism has killed more people than all socialist countries combined. I think a closer examination of the facts would prove that capitalism has benefited more people than all socialist countries combined. When have Marxists ever concerned themselves with benevolence or the truth? In this paper the student regurgitated the textbook but later regretted that she did.

The disturbing part of this anecdote is that the much younger students in the class seemed to agree whole-heartedly with the professor. Do we need further proof that most of our universities are hotbeds of indoctrination, since the experience of this student is not uncommon?

The Bidenoma presidency has wreaked terrible consequences upon the United States – opening our borders to flood our country with illegal immigrants, destroying our energy independence from other countries, implementing dictatorial policies upon the automobile industry and other capitalist enterprises.

We know that Joe Biden is controlled by others and is a surrogate of Barack Obama. Does anyone remember “Obama 2.0”? Biden spouts that Republicans are destroying democracy. He knows this statement is a lie and that it is the Democrats who are fundamentally attempting to change America in which democracy has no part. But then, what else can we expect from those who are fundamentally anti-American?

Since he has been in office, Joe Biden has done a great deal to benefit his country. Unfortunately, his country appears to be China rather than the United States. Most of his policies have benefited China more than our country, i.e., electric batteries and solar panels made mostly in China; open borders and weakened military—and the list goes on.

Barak Obama assumed the presidential office under the guise of a Christian. Why would a Christian bow to the King of Saudi Arabia? Why have both men sent billions of dollars to Iran, a country which has vowed to destroy the United States, a country that funds terrorism around the world?

We must look beyond the lies and know the Marxists by their actions.
