For the last eight years, Pashak has served Howell Public Schools as the assistant principal at the Howell freshmen campus.

"She's well experienced and a seasoned administrator," Roedel said.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social studies education from Purdue University and a Master of Science degree in educational leadership from Madonna University.

Additionally, In 2020, she received her education specialist degree in educational leadership from University of Michigan-Flint. She has a Michigan administrator certificate and professional teaching certificate.

Prior to her work in Howell, she taught Advanced Placement government, served as the social studies department chair and leader of the school improvement team at Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights.

She also taught at Fayette County Public Schools in Lexington, Kentucky, and Horizon Alternative Middle School in Indianapolis.

"She understands that being successful is all about creating relationships, but for her, what made it different was she wanted to create personal relationships with staff and students and get to know people and what makes them tick," Roedel said. "Not just as professional teachers or just as students, but really get to know who our students are and who our staff is, so that they can build a great cohesive team.

"I look forward to how she'll integrate the thoughts and opinions of our students in the direction of the high school and how it moves forward," he added.
