Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews was touched by unexpected baby gift from Chiefs’ Travis Kelce

Fox Sports broadcaster Erin Andrews became a mother this summer, after what People magazine called “a 9-year-long fertility journey.”

Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, welcomed a son, who was born via surrogate, People reported.

After Mack’s birth, Andrews received a baby gift from an unexpected person: Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Andrews revealed that last week during an appearance on the “Today” show. It came while Andrews was recounting how she and “Calm Down” podcast co-host Charissa Thompson may have helped Kelce get a first date with singer Taylor Swift.

“He made a plea on his podcast that he’d like to meet her, and so I saw it,” Andrews said of Kelce. “I‘m a huge fan of his, work with him. He’s great, sent Mack an adorable baby gift, just out of the blue. It was sweet.”

That’s a cool gesture by Kelce.

Andrews continued: “And I was just like, ‘Check, check and check, Taylor.’ Like, I don’t really know who she’s dated except for what we’ve seen publicly. Give my friend a try.”

A photo of Kelce and Swift from their time in New York earlier this month was shown on the screen, and Andrews said there was something different about the Chiefs star.

“I know him obviously better than her,” Andrews said. “He looks adorable and I love also this picture, I guess this was this weekend. My girlfriend and I, Charissa, who does the ‘Calm Down’ podcast with me, he’s got a glow to him. Yeah, I mean, that’s a glow.”

Andrews has another connection to the famous couple. When Swift attended the Chiefs-Broncos game on Oct. 12, she was wearing a windbreaker she had received from Andrews’ fashion collection.

That windbreaker quickly became a best-selling item.

“He wrote on our ‘Calm Down’ thing on I.G., ‘Hey guys, I owe you big time,’” Andrews said. “Then better yet I sent her the team apparel jacket and she wore it!”
