  2. Macy’s Twenty Ninth Street store is closing. Macy's website has a "Store Closing Sale" link posted. There have been plans in place to redevelop the Boulder Macy’s for several years.
    In early 2021, the Boulder City Council decided in an 8-1 vote to approve a site plan that proposes to transform the aging department store into a mixed-use office and retail space. (Digital News)

  3. The Fox Theatre has shaped Colorado's music community and sonic identity. Colorado’s musical notoriety didn’t happen overnight.   4. Rosenberg's Bagels forced to close locations due to COVID-19 outbreaks. Rosenberg’s Boulder location reopened this past Tuesday for takeout and delivery only, but other Denver locations remained closed this week due to pandemic-related issues. (7News)

  • Marshall Fire Resouce Distribution Center: The center is pen daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. for individuals and families affected by the #MarshallFire. Items available include clothing, food, kitchen and bathroom essentials, and much more. (Facebook)

  • New Call Center Hours: The Boulder County Public Call Center (303-413-7730) for those impacted by the #Marshallfire will be open today until 4:30 p.m. Starting tomorrow, they will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday-Friday. (Facebook)

  • Marshall Fire Impacts to Open Space and Mountain Bike Trails: The City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks staff gave an update on the Marshall Fire's impacts to Marshall Mesa on Jan. 12. With more than 2,000 acres of open space impacted, this includes the closure of the Marshall Mesa trailhead and the Marshall Mesa restroom is a total loss.
