Road Warriors, Hart Foundation set for epic battle

The Road Warriors continued their dominance by destroying the Fabulous Freebirds.

Animal and Hawk had no problem clobbering the competition by garnering 95 percent of the vote.

Their next opponent will be the Hart Foundation of Bret "The Hitman" Hart and Jim "The Anvil "Neidhart," which narrowly defeated the Steiner Brothers. The Harts finished with 56.63 percent of the votes.

These two teams had only one match — in 1991 — when the Road Warriors were known as the Legion of Doom (their WWE moniker).

The match ended in a double count out.

In 2006, Bret Hart said this of their opponents: “The Road Warriors, or Legion Of Doom, were one of the greatest — and in some ways you could say the greatest — tag team of all time. I don’t know of anybody that was bigger than them."

He went on to say some more controversial things about this match, but you'll have to read that for yourself.

Demolition, British Bulldogs reignite old feud

On the other side of the bracket, Demolition edged the Von Erich brothers with 55.56 percent of the vote.

While these two teams never faced each other directly, Demolition was part of a team with Mr. Perfect and the third Demolition member, Crush, which lost to Kerry Von Erich, the Legion of Doom and the Ultimate Warrior in the 1990 Survivor Series.

Demolition will square off against the British Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs eliminated Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard with 59.34 percent of the vote.

Demolition and the Bulldogs are no strangers, having had several clashes.

In a bout in 1987, the Bulldogs were disqualified for using a steel chair in a match.

Demolition, as tag team champions, defeated the Bulldogs to retain their titles in July 1988 at WrestleFest. After the Bulldogs regained the titles, they had another epic battle in France in 1988 where Demolition defeated the Bulldogs to regain the tag team champions.

Can the Bulldogs get one over on Demolition?
