François Chau has been cast in the HBO Max series "The Penguin."

Chau, along with Carmen Ejogo and David H. Holmes, will join a star-studded cast that includes Colin Farrell, who is reprising his role from Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,” “How I Met Your Mother” actor Cristin Milioti, Michael Kelly from “House of Cards” and Iranian actor Shohreh Aghdashloo from “24” and “The Expanse," according to Variety.

The exact details about Chau, Ejogo and Holmes’ roles are being kept under wraps. Chau’s previous credits include "Lost," "The Expanse," "Law & Order: Organized Crime" and "American Gigolo."

Lauren LeFranc will serve as showrunner while Reeves will executive produce. "The Penguin" is currently in production, with a planned eight episode run.
