France says Iran-EU trade mechanism should be established in "coming days"

PARIS, Jan 23 (Reuters) - France's foreign minister said on Wednesday that a European-backed system to facilitate non-dollar trade with Iran and circumvent U.S. sanctions should be established in the coming days.

The special purpose vehicle "should be implemented in the coming days," Jean-Yves Le Drian told the French parliament's foreign affairs committee. (Reporting by John Irish; Editing by Alison Williams)
