Details: The Ukrainian Office of the Prosecutor General received equipment for building 3D crime scene models on 22 June. This officially concludes the French mission "Fighting Impunity", which brought French criminal investigators to Ukraine under the auspices of the International Criminal Court.

Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin noted that Ukraine highly appreciates this French assistance. "The equipment handed over today will greatly help our prosecutors and experts in documenting the damage done to civilian infrastructure. There are over 110,000 infrastructure facilities in Ukraine that have been destroyed or damaged by the Russian military," said Kostin.

He pointed out that France had previously donated two mobile DNA analysis laboratories to Ukraine, assisted Ukrainian investigators in the field and contributed to the work of the International Criminal Court.

Three teams of French forensic investigators have visited Ukraine to assist in the investigation of crimes committed in Bucha, Irpin and Izium, and the French experts have recently shared their experience with Ukrainian colleagues in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih.
