France's Macron says further income tax cuts worth about 5 bln euros

PARIS, April 25 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that further cuts in income tax could be worth about 5 billion euros ($5.57 billion).

Macron flagged the additional tax cuts as he outlined his response to months of anti-government protests in the first press conference of his presidency at the Elysee Palace.
