Frankfort bomb threat deemed not credible

Jan. 24—SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Frankfort High School students were relocated to neighboring Frankfort Middle School on Wednesday after a bomb threat was made against the school.

"Students are safe at FMS and we ask parents to refrain from coming to pick up students at this time as to not interfere with ongoing procedures," the school said in a statement posted to social media.

Students were dismissed for the day from Frankfort Middle and will be allowed return to the school to retrieve their possessions once the building is cleared by police.

Law enforcement officials deemed the threat not credible.
