Frankie Grande Wants to Compete in a 'Big Brother: Legends' Season

Frankie Grande made waves during his time competing on Big Brother 16. Though he won several competitions and tied for the record of most competition wins in a single season, Grande was largely perceived negatively by certain viewers.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Grande revealed that he’d like to give Big Brother another shot… under certain conditions, that is. “There’s no way I'm done with Big Brother,” the Broadway star declared. “I'm cautious because I’m afraid of going out like Janelle [Pierzina] did in the last season of All-Stars.”

For context, Pierzina did great during her first two times on the show ­– BB6 and BB7 – but was sent home extremely early on BB14 and BB22. She was too big of a target among the other contestants, which culminated in her swift eviction.

Thus, if Grande were to return, he’d like it to be a Big Brother: Legends season that included the likes of Dan Gheesling, Derrick Levasseur, Rachel Reilly, and Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin.

Back on Big Brother 16, Grande aligned himself with the Bomb Squad and The Detonators alliances. The core of these groups consisted of Derrick Levasseur, Cody Calafiore, Caleb Reynolds, and Zach Rance, which basically schemed their way to evicting all of the women in the house. As a gay man, Grande was heavily criticized for aligning himself with those players.

Otherwise, Grande had an infamous showmance with Rance throughout that season. Rance eventually came out as bisexual in 2020, but he was not publicly out about his sexuality when BB16 aired.

As of May 2022, Frankie Grande got married to actor and Twitch streamer Hale Grande. Thus, his supposed next stint on Big Brother would likely not include any showmancing. With that said, the idea of a Big Brother: Legends edition seems pretty unlikely after the disappointing season that Big Brother 22: All-Stars turned out to be.
