Franklin Gallery in Rochester will host an exhibit during February entitled "It Ain’t Easy Being Easy" featuring the work of Matt Wyatt.

ROCHESTER - The Franklin Gallery at RiverStones Custom Framing, 33 N. Main Street, Rochester, will host an exhibit during February entitled "It Ain’t Easy Being Easy," featuring the work of Matt Wyatt.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be no opening reception. However, the public is encouraged to view this exhibit during regular store hours at RiverStones Custom Framing.

Wyatt is a multi-media artist living and working in Rochester. His work includes abstract expressionism, collage, and photography. He studied at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and earned a certificate in Digital Photography from eCornell, Cornell University's online program.

Wyatt's work has received regional and national attention and exhibited in a variety of venues including Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington, DC), Art Current (Provincetown, Massachusetts), Diane Von Furstenberg Studio (New York City), and The Gatehouse Gallery (Tamworth, N.H.)

In 2011, Wyatt co-founded the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts in Rochester, N.H., and has helped curate more than 100 art exhibitions.

The Franklin Gallery and RiverStones Custom Framing are open Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Unless otherwise indicated, all exhibited Franklin Gallery artworks are available for purchase.
