Frederick's Amazing Faith Dinner Dialogues

Apr. 4—Would you like to participate in a dialogue with people of different faiths or beliefs in order to understand how they apply their principles when making decisions, resolving conflicts, overcoming fears and expressing joy? Do you wish for more meaningful connections with people in your life, or do you long for significant conversations?

Frederick Interfaith, an organization that formed after 9/11, fosters spiritual understanding, unity and love among people of diverse beliefs. As one of its outreach activities, Frederick Interfaith sponsors an annual Amazing Faiths Dinner. Over the years, this has proven to be a wonderful way to get fresh ideas from different perspectives and find new friends.

This year, Frederick Interfaith and guests will meet from 5 to 8 p.m. April 30 at the community room of the Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, 15 W. Church St., Frederick. Guests will be assigned to tables of groups of six to eight participants and during the meal, each person will be asked to answer a question about his or her personal experience with faith or beliefs.

Trained moderators will facilitate each table's discussion. People of all faiths and no faith are welcome. This event is free for participants. Diners are asked to bring a dish to serve about six people for a buffet-style meal.

To register for the dinner, email frederickinterfaith@gmail.com or call 301-639-2062. RSVP by April 23.
