Fredericksburg Visitor Center To Sell Customized Face Masks

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg Visitor Center will reopen Aug. 4, with measures in place to help keep people socially distanced.

The visitor center, at 706 Caroline Street in downtown Fredericksburg, has been closed since this spring due to coronavirus crisis. It will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Aug. 4.

Customized face masks will be available for purchase in person, allowing visitors to safely enjoy Fredericksburg’s beautiful downtown.

At the visitor center, tourists can learn about the galleries and studios in downtown Fredericksburg, or choose from more than 40 chef-owned restaurants within easy walking distance, many of which have reopened as Virginia entered phase three of the coronavirus reopening.

Visitors also can watch a 12-minute orientation program and receive additional travel information.
