Free baseball clinic for New Bedford youth

NEW BEDFORD — District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn, III will be hosting a free baseball clinic with former Boston Red Sox pitcher and current Bishop Stang baseball coach Brian Rose that is open to all New Bedford boys and girls in grades 2 through 8. The clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 11, at the Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School Gym, 1121 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.

The students will also be coached by the Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech baseball team and coaches, as well as members of the District Attorney's office.

Registration forms are available for pick up at the following New Bedford locations: Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, 888 Purchase Street; New Bedford YMCA, 25 South Water Street; Boys and Girls Club, 166 Jenny Street; NB Recreation Department, 181 Hillman Street.
