How to get free coffee? Vineland's newest Dunkin' offers grand opening giveaway

VINELAND - Thanking the community for a warm welcome, the franchisee of the city’s newest Dunkin’ is hosting a grand opening bash on Saturday.

“East Vineland is treating us well,” said Ashwin Chaudhary, who selected the location based on customer demand.

About six weeks after the restaurant’s debut at the Lincoln Shopping Center at Lincoln and Dante avenues, Chaudhary said he’s noticing familiar faces in the restaurant’s 24-seat dining area. “We have a lot of regular customers."

The 2,200-square-foot Dunkin’ is the fourth Vineland franchise for the Pittsgrove resident.

The first 100 guests, who are Vineland residents 18 years or older, will receive a coupon book for four free hot or iced coffees per month for 14 months to use at the Lincoln location.

To acknowledge the public support, Dunkin' is planning a pay-it-forward $1,000 contribution to the Boys and Girls Club of Cumberland County, Chaudhary said.

The email invitation to the celebration came as a surprise to Chris Volker, the executive director of the nonprofit organization.

“It really helps us,” Volker said. “What we do is put the donation toward our youth programs.”

The grand opening celebration will be held between 10 a.m. and noon and will feature giveaways, raffles, face-painting and a balloon artist.

The Lincoln Avenue location incorporates Dunkin’s “New Generation” design, which includes a brewery-style tap system dispensing Dunkin’s cold beverages including iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew.
