Free COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Saturday At The Station

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Station at Riverdale Park will offer a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic Saturday. In partnership with the University of Maryland Capital Region Health, The Station will offer free Pfizer vaccines in the parking lot of Whole Foods at 6621 Baltimore Ave. in Riverdale.

The Sports and Learning Complex COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Landover will be open Monday as will the COVID-19 testing sites at the Bunker Hill Fire Station in Brentwood and the Temple Hills Community Center in Temple Hills. Testing sites at the First United Methodist Church in Hyattsville and the Roseu Medical Center in Laurel will be closed, however, for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. However, hours of operations may change due to forecasted inclement weather on Sunday.

The Prince George's County Health Department offers free COVID-19 tests. Patients do not need a doctor's prescription or insurance to get tested; however, you must present identification. Testing at a health department location is limited to residents 10 years of age and older.

The county's community vaccination site at the Largo Student Center at the Prince George's Community College accepts walk-ins but appointments are encouraged. Vaccines are free for individuals ages 5 and older. Booster shots are available for ages 16 and older. The student center is open for vaccines Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with walk-ins accepted between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with walk-ins accepted from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and the fourth Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free vaccines are also available for first, second or booster doses at PGCPS elementary schools through the end of January. Walk-ins are accepted but appointments are encouraged.Vaccine clinics in Prince George's County includes sites that are not operated by the county.
