PETERSBURG— This weekend, multiple health fairs and health screenings will be taking place in the city.

Petersburg has struggled with access to health care and ranks the least healthy in the state, including having the highest teen pregnancy rate in the state and a high rate of diabetes and HIV. Nationwide, 40% of adults with low income have untreated cavities, and health officials are worried about another surge of COVID during the winter months.
