From free doughnuts to deals on dozens, here’s a quick look at what’s happening on the dough-tastic day.

Dunkin’ Donuts

If you weren’t already running to Dunkin’, Friday would be a good day to start. The Massachusetts-based chain is offering a free classic doughnut with any drink purchase. Participation does vary so check with your favorite local location first. While supplies last. Espresso shots, fancies and specialty doughnuts are also excluded. Some locations open as early as 4 a.m. Friday. Visit dunkindonuts.com for more.

For its sweet deal, Krispy Kreme is giving away any free doughnut of your choice (cake batter, Key lime pie, or banana pudding perhaps?) in shop or drive-thru Friday. One free doughnut per guest, while supplies last. If one isn’t enough, buy a dozen doughnuts and get a dozen original glazed for just $2. Just the code BOGO2 if ordering online.
