Sweet deals abound on Friday, June 2, for National Donut Day 2023.
From free doughnuts to deals on dozens, here’s a quick look at what’s happening on the dough-tastic day.
Dunkin’ Donuts
If you weren’t already running to Dunkin’, Friday would be a good day to start. The Massachusetts-based chain is offering a free classic doughnut with any drink purchase. Participation does vary so check with your favorite local location first. While supplies last. Espresso shots, fancies and specialty doughnuts are also excluded. Krispy Kreme
For its sweet deal, Krispy Kreme is giving away any free doughnut of your choice (cake batter, Key lime pie, or banana pudding perhaps?) in shop or drive-thru Friday. One free doughnut per guest, while supplies last. If one isn’t enough, buy a dozen doughnuts and get a dozen original glazed for just $2. Just the code BOGO2 if ordering online. Duck Donuts
Although the Coconut Point location closed a couple of years ago, Duck Donuts is still waddling along in south Fort Myers and Naples. Head there Friday for a free cinnamon sugar doughnut. No purchase necessary. Offer only good in person. And in case you were wondering how it all began: In 1938, The Salvation Army declared the first Friday in June to be National Donut Day to honor women who brought coffee and baked goods to soldiers near the front lines in France during World War I.
