The fourth Free Fire World Series tournament and the second this year will begin with a bang on November 25 for Play-ins, before the Finals happen on November 26.

This time around, the esports event will not take place in Singapore, unlike the previous iteration.

Instead, it is set to take place at the homeground of the last two tournament FFWS winners, All Around (FFWS 2022 Sentosa), and EVOS Pheonix (FFWS 2021 SG).

The first Free Fire World Series took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2019, and was won by Brazilian squad Corinthians.

Qualifiers for Free Fire World Series 2022 Bangkok will take place in several regions in the next few months.

Regions that directly qualify will include Brazil, Latin America, Europe, CIS, the Middle East, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

Other regions such as Taiwan and Pakistan will only qualify for the Play-Ins and will go up against the runner ups from the above regions.

Organised by Garena, the prize pool for FFWS 2022 Bangkok has not yet been revealed.

If it's anything like previous tournaments, then expect a US$2 million pool, with the winner taking home the lion's share of US$500,000.

However, with Garena's parent company SEA currently on a cost cutting streak, it remains to be seen if the prize pool for the tournament will match the earlier series.
