Free at-home test kits offered in Yolo County for COVID-positive residents

As omicron cases continue to spike across Northern California and more people search for COVID-19 tests, health officials are getting creative in distributing at-home test kits. Starting on Monday, Yolo County will distribute free COVID-19 at-home test kits to residents who have tested positive for the virus in the past five days. "The reason why this is so important particularly for people who are positive is that we want people to get back to work, to get back to their life," John Fout, a spokesperson for Yolo County said. "That is the whole goal of having these at home tests available to people and that also coincides obviously with the new isolation and quarantine rules."
