Free N95 Masks Available At These Greendale Spots: Health Dept.

GREENDALE, WI — Free N95 masks will be available at three Village of Greendale locations starting Tuesday and until supplies run out, the Greendale Health Department website said.

The CDC updated its face-covering guidance in January, clearly stating that properly fitted N95 and KN95 masks offer the most protection against COVID-19, but it stopped short of recommending them over cloth masks.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said the best mask "is the one that you will wear and the one you keep on all day long, that you can tolerate in public indoor settings."

Here's where N95 masks are set to be handed out in Greendale:

Safety Center Lobby - 5911 Grange Avenue: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.

Library Lobby - 5647 Broad Street: 9 a.m.-8p.m.

Health Lobby - 5650 Parking Street: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Supplies may run out, so it may be best to call these locations ahead to ensure they have stock before visiting.
