Free premium shows & films presented for Comcast's 'Watchathon Week'

Comcast's Watchathon Week returns for its 10th year, May 3 to May 9, offering free access to thousands of movies and TV episodes from dozens of networks and streaming services including HBO Max, Netflix, Prime Video, Starz, Showtime, Epix, Peacock, AMC+ and more.

For this year’s Watchathon, customers can enjoy some of the year’s most popular and anticipated programming such as:

  • The first two seasons of Netflix’s"Stranger Things" to prepare for the fourth season premiering May 27.

  • The first season of "Girls5Eva" ahead of the season two premiere on May 5 and all four seasons of "Yellowstone" on Peacock.

  • The first season of select Prime Video Originals including "The Boys," "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," "The Wilds," "Bosch"and"Harlem."

  • Premium networks such as HBO Max, Starz, Showtime and Epix will make their full on-demand library available throughout the week, for content such as Showtime's drama "The First Lady," Starz’s "Outlander"and "Gaslit," HBO Max’s "Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty" and Epix’s "Godfather of Harlem."

  • AMC+ first season originals like "A Discovery of Witches," "Creepshow" and "Gangs of London."

  • Thousands of hours of multicultural content with complete access to subscription services such as Qwest TV, Kocowa, Here TV, Brown Sugar, Pantaya, and others.

  • Full catalogs of some of the most popular niche subscription services such as Acorn TV, History Vault, Lifetime Movie Club, Hallmark Movies Now, DOGTV, and Kidstream.

Customers can access Watchathon Week programming on their X1 and Flex systems by saying “Watchathon” into their Voice Remote to see personalized recommendations and browse collections curated by the cable giant's editorial team.

“Watchathon Week continues to be extremely popular amongst our customers with almost a billion hours of content being consumed during the event over the last 10 years," Jason Wicht, senior vice president of growth operations for Comcast, said on the cable company's website.
