Free Sips & Biscuits At Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ In SFV

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — Among area restaurants expanding open-air dining during this summer's coronavirus pandemic is Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in Woodland Hills, which has transformed its outdoor space into a veranda-inspired dining experience — adding to its Southern-style welcome with a "Sweet Sips & Biscuits" freebie.

Patrons can enjoy a complimentary glass of either iced tea or Lucille's Original Sidewalk Lemonade, plus a basket of freshly-baked biscuits and apple butter.

“This summer is unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and our new patios offer a relaxed and comfortable space to enjoy a delicious meal,” said Brad Hofman, president of the family-owned barbeque chain. “Starting with a complimentary glass of iced tea or lemonade and our house-made biscuits is our way of saying welcome.”

Also on the summer menu: the new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, starring a fried chicken breast topped with sweet pickles and creamy coleslaw served on a soft brioche bun with a special, tangy Alabama White barbeque sauce.

Lucille’s Southern-inspired menu draws influence from southern and Cajun cuisine with a focus on such meats as ribs, brisket, tri-tip and chicken, smoked and served with a variety of authentic barbeque sauces from different regions.

The chain's "Sweet Sips & Biscuits" deal will be offered through summer at all Lucille's locations featuring outdoor dining, management said. Lucille’s complete menu also is available for take-out or delivery.

In Woodland Hills, Lucille's is at The Village at Westfield Topanga, 6220 North Topanga Canyon Blvd.
