Jul. 8—A propane leak in Central Point and a semitrailer rollover north of Wolf Creek are prompting detours and delays for Southern Oregon motorists.

In Central Point, the southbound Interstate 5 on-ramp at Exit 33 may potentially be closed long-term due to a propane leak at a nearby gas station, according to a 12:46 p.m. release issued by Oregon Department of Transportation.

Central Point traffic is asked to use either Medford Exit 30 or north Central Point Exit 35, and to avoid the west interchange area at Pine and Freeman Road.

One lane of I-5 near milepost 80 reportedly is blocked by a commercial truck that rolled over. ODOT officials say traffic now is getting through, but motorists should expect delays.
