FREMONT - Do you remember how much fun Saturday nights were when Harvey Korman and Tim Conway appeared in sketches on "The Carol Burnett Show?" Well, they are back, but in the bodies of Tim Bolton, Fremont, and Michael PJ Foos, Gibsonburg, at the Fremont Community Theatre.

Bolton and Foos are reprising their roles from Fremont Community Theatre’s Greater Tuna series in “Tuna Does Vegas.” Bolton and Foos play 20 loveable and eccentric characters from the Tuna, the third smallest town in Texas, according to a press release.

"Tuna Does Vegas" is directed by Delilah Foos Lessing, and assisted by Macy Merrill. Remaining show dates are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets may be reserved at showtix4u.com, keyword “Fremont.” Ticket also may be available at the door.

The hilarity begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife, Bertha Bumiller, are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows, but everyone in Tuna, Texas goes along for the ride.

"Tuna Does Vegas" is written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard and features favorite characters from the Tuna series, including Greater Tuna, as well as new faces, including Elvis impersonators and showgirls, too.

Bolton and Foos, two seasoned and talented FCT actors, fill the roles of every character — male, female, young, and ol. They will satirically expose the audience to life in a small, rural town, where everyone knows everyone, and rumors and opinions are blatantly hilarious.
