French businesspeople send over 180 generators to Kharkiv

A French delegation has delivered over 180  power generators purchased by French businesspeople to the city of Kharkiv.

Details: Kharkiv City Council said that the French delegation arrived in Kharkiv with a humanitarian mission. As part of it, they delivered 181 generators, the purchase of which was funded by French private businesses.

Some of the generators will be given to Kharkiv’s municipal repair service.

On 20 January, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov met with Benjamin Rohrig, Chargé d'Affaires at the French Embassy in Ukraine, to thank the French people for supporting the Ukrainian city.

Quote from Terekhov: "We are very grateful that today you are once again saving Kharkiv, we really appreciate it. Over the course of the past 11 months, you have sent tonnes of humanitarian aid and medicine for Kharkiv residents. Now you have made a significant contribution to overcoming the energy crisis caused by Russian shelling. I hope that in the future we will rebuild our city together."
