French-Italian SAMP-T air defense system arrives in Ukraine

According to the report, 20 local specialists will be tasked with maintaining the sophisticated air defense system.

"The Franco-Italian anti-aircraft missile system has arrived in Ukraine, and it will be serviced by 20 local experts," the article reads.
On Feb. 21, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the transfer of the sixth package of military aid to Ukraine, including a SAMP-T anti-aircraft missile system.

In early March, Ukrainian news agency Interfax-Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were expecting to receive SAMP-T and Patriot systems by early May.
