French Quarter Festival 2024 music, food lineup announced
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The entertainment and culinary lineups for the 41st annual French Quarter Festival have been announced.
The festival will take over the French Quarter once again to celebrate Louisiana’s music, food and culture.
Over the course of four days, from April 11 to 14, festgoers can visit multiple venues and stages, watch legends and new artists perform, taste food from over 60 chefs and Immers themselves in the celebration of the “unique region.”

The focus of this year’s festival is to celebrate Louisiana’s Living Legends.
Producers said they are excited to raise the bar this year after witnessing the success of the 40th-year festival.
“In addition to showcasing hundreds of local artists and chefs, this year introduces two new stages, our DJ Stage, and our Culinary Stage presented by Kingfish Kitchen and Cocktails. 2023 welcomed more than 875,000 fans over four days, so this year we are providing more space for our fans to spread out and dance with the addition of programming in Spanish Plaza,” said French Quarter Festival President and CEO Emily Madero.
There will be over 270 acts performing on 21 stages for a total of 40 hours of live music.
Some of the notable musicians include Irma Thomas Soul Queen of New Orleans, Ivan Neville, Little Freddie King, George Porter Jr., Charmaine Neville, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Rockin’ Dopsie Jr. and Kermit Ruffins and more performing on stages stretching from Canal Street to Esplanade Avenue.
Several New Orleans natives and DJs will also be hitting the new DJ stage in Aquarium Plaza, including Teedra Moses, The Original Pinettes with Mia X, People Museum, TBC Brass Band featuring HaSizzle and more making their stage debuts.
The Chevron Stage in the JAX lot for the Chevron Evening Concert Series will bring out some fest favorites such as The Soul Rebels, John “Papa” Gros and Big Freedia. The Abita Beer stage will host groups Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience and Chapel Hart.
The culinary lineup will include food options from the city’s own Tujague’s, Loretta’s Authentic Pralines and Plum Street Snoballs.
This year, Bao Mi and Paco’s Tacos will have their culinary debut at the festival along with Miss River and Fritai Nola.
