Pamela Anderson is one of the most talked-about celebs on the internet RN—and for good reason. Her new Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, dropped Jan. 31, on the same day she published her memoir, Love, Pamela.

Through both, she details the story of her life, from her childhood and the traumas she endured, to her adult relationships. Pamela is a hopeless romantic who truly adores being in love. (Fun fact: She’s been married five times!)

One relationship seemed to get the least attention in her doc, however. She mentions dating a “French soccer player,” but doesn't name anyone specifically, leaving many to wonder: Who is this man she's talking about?

Well, that "french soccer player" is Adil Rami, and Pamela dated him for nearly two years. Ahead, learn all about Adil, including what to know about his job, age, and former relationship with Pamela.

Adil is a defender for the Ligue 1 club, Troyes, according to Fox Sports and ESPN. He's originally from Bastia, France. Adil won the World Cup with his national team, Les Bleus, against Croatia in 2018, ESPN reported.

Adil is 37 years old today, but when he started dating Pamela, he was 31 and she was 49.

Pamela and Adil began dating in early 2017.

And they stayed together until June of 2019. During their ‘ship, the pair broke up once and got back together. Adil even proposed to Pam, but she turned him down, TMZ reported.

They officially split in 2019. At the time, Pamela claimed that he was cheating on her with the mother of his children, Sidonie Biémont, according to Page Six. Adil and Sidonie share Zayn and Madi, twins born in 2016.

Adil denied Pamela’s claims, saying he had a platonic relationship with Sidonie.

She took to Instagram to announce their split and told her followers about her decision. Pamela also wrote on her foundation’s website and claimed that he physically abused her, Page Six reported. Pamela's original post have since been deleted.

She hinted at their relationship in Pamela, a love story.

While describing her various relationships on camera, Pamela talked about Adil, but didn’t specifically name him.

“When the kids graduated, I wanted to go to the South of France,” she explained in the documentary. “I met a professional athlete. He was very strong. And he was very jealous.”

The doc then shows news clips with the allegations that he crushed her hands.

Adil has denied these allegations, saying that he was incapable of doing something like that, per the Daily Mail. The outlet then said he posted a since-deleted Instagram to address the issue. "I wish to tell you that these accusations of violence are completely false and I can't let them run," he wrote.

Where is he now?

It seems like he's still playing soccer for Ligue 1 club Troyes, where he's a captain. He also just hit up Paris Fashion Week and shared some BTS on Instagram.
