The new French spot, By George, opens its doors downtown

A new French spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called By George, the fresh arrival is located at 127 Peachtree St. NE in the Downtown.

It serves up classics like onion soup and salad nicoise as well as blue crab, Southern oysters and pasta and steak dishes. Save room for the chocolate torte dessert.

By George has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a four-star rating out of fourreviews on Yelp.

Sara T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 3, wrote, "The breakfast was delicious. I ordered sunny side eggs, bacon, potatoes with caramelized onions and toast with orange jelly. Everything was perfect."
