DAYTONA BEACH — There is certainly no shortage of quality seafood restaurants along Florida's east coast, and Volusia County's no different.
Many of these options can be found on or near Florida State Road A1A. There's a slew of seafood restaurant options for both locals and visitors along the scenic highway in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach.
And the best part? They are super close to the beach!

1. Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Bar
This two-story restaurant at 127 S. Ocean Ave. is an iconic spot in Daytona Beach.
Diners can start off with coconut shrimp, crab cakes, crispy clam strips and other options. The menu also offers Alaskan trawlers (1.5 pounds of steamed snow crab legs, served will coleslaw and rice), 8-ounce steamed lobster tail with drawn butter, broccoli and mashed potatoes along with other entrée choices.

2. Salty Farms Seafood Market & Restaurant
Salty Farms combines a seafood market and restaurant into one location at 1452 Ocean Shore Blvd. in Ormond Beach, which makes the menu as fresh as can be.
Starters include a 1.5-pound lobster cocktail (a whole Maine lobster served with hot or chilled drawn butter), a smoked mahi fish dip, oysters on the half shelf, southern blue crab and others. For entrées, customers can choose shrimp, crab cakes, scallops, salmon and a shrimp salad.

3. Boondocks Restaurant & Tiki Bar
This waterfront dining spot “nestled along the Halifax River” at 3948 S. Peninsula Drive in Wilbur-by-the-Sea and near Port Orange has been around since 1995.
Appetizers include Buffalo or coconut shrimp, crab bites, mussels marinara and others. For lunch and dinner, customers can order a mahi-mahi fish dinner, a fried seafood combo with fish, shrimp, clams and oysters, as well as other shrimp, oyster and clam dishes.

4. Hull’s Seafood Restaurant
Hull’s Seafood Restaurant originated as a seafood marketplace and grew into the restaurant it is today at 111 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach, serving locals and visitors “with the freshest seafood available."
Customers can start with yellowfin ahi tuna, crab cake, calamari, and even gator bites and a smoked fish spread with crackers. Among the many entrée selections are mahi mahi, grouper, sea scallops, cod and others.

5. River Deck Tiki Bar & Restaurant
This restaurant at 107 N. Riverside Drive overlooks the Indian River in New Smyrna Beach, offering a unique waterfront dining experience in the city.
Appetizers include clam chowder, Bayou butter oysters, Gulf shrimp, a crunchy tuna tortilla and other dishes. Customers can get grilled or stuffed grouper, crab cakes and shrimp scampi for lunch, as well as Alaskan trawler crab legs, mahi piccata, and fresh Atlantic salmon for dinner.
