Fresh Snow Falls on California's Sierra Nevada Mountains

Fresh snow fell on California’s higher elevations as an atmospheric river affected the state on Tuesday, January 10.

The University of California Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab reported 9.4 inches of new snow over the previous 24 hours as of Tuesday morning.

“Snowfall rates should increase this morning and we are looking at another 18-36” of accumulation in the next day," the lab said.
