Fresno, Madera schools and non-profits surprised with tickets to Romeo Santos concert

The king of bachata Romeo Santos surprised Fresno and Madera schools and non-profit foundations this morning with tickets to attend his ‘Formula Vol. 3’ concert this Wednesday (Oct. 4) at Save Mart Center.

According to a press release, Santos and the North American promoter ‘Outback Presents’ provided tickets to Madera South High School, Bautista Medical Foundation, Roosevelt School of Performing Arts, and Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation as part “an initiative to give underprivileged youth and families in the Latin community the concert experience of a lifetime by the global icon.”

Through this initiative, Santos and Outback Presents set out to give back to the Fresno and Madera communities, “shaping the underprivileged youth of tomorrow through music and worldly experience,” according to the release.

The Bautista Medical Foundation “pays it forward” to the local community through health, community and education while the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation supports community growth and development by bringing together business opportunities and assisting families from low-income households through specially designed philanthropic events.

Romeo Santos is kicking off his ‘Formula Vol. 3 North American’ tour in Fresno.

He is making several stops in California including San Francisco, Oakland, Inglewood, San Diego and Ontario as well stops in Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Florida and Canada.

With more than two decades with a solo artist career and chief producer, and songwriter in the legendary group Aventura, Romeo Santos is a record-breaking global icon within the Latin music industry as a singer, songwriter, performer, mogul, actor and producer.
