Fresno PD seeks man who snatched purse from woman

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who snatched a woman’s purse earlier this month.

Police say on Jan. 10, a male suspect sat next to a victim who was seated at the bus stop located at South Blackstone Avenue and Divisadero Street. After a few minutes, the suspect forcefully removed the victim’s purse.

According to police, the suspect then proceeded to run eastbound towards Divisadero Street and P Street.

Police say the suspect appears to be a thin male adult in his 20’s to 30’s.
