Fresno State women have COVID-postponed home game vs. Colorado State rescheduled

Fresno State’s women’s basketball team has another of its Mountain West games postponed due to COVID-19 concerns back, with the conference rescheduling a game against Colorado State at the Save Mart Center for Jan. 24.

The Bulldogs had a Jan. 3 game at San Jose State and a Jan. 6 game against the Rams postponed due to COVID-19 concerns in their program and a Jan. 13 game against Nevada postponed with issues in the Wolf Pack program.

The game at San Jose State was rescheduled and played on Jan. 13, a 78-57 victory. The game against Nevada has not yet been rescheduled by the conference.

Fresno State (7-8, 3-1 in the MW) has won three games in a row, two coming after a two-week break due to COVID-19. The Bulldogs beat San Diego State on New Year’s Eve, then didn’t play again until the Jan. 13 victory over San Jose State and followed that up two days later with a 87-74 victory over the Spartans.

The Bulldogs, the pick to win the Mountain West in a preseason poll, are in fourth place in the conference at 3-1. New Mexico is 6-0, followed by Nevada at 3-0, UNLV at 5-1 and Fresno State.
