It's Week 7, and that means the games are getting downright serious. Every win matters, every loss hurts, as team make the push for the postseason. See how your favorite teams fared right here — and be sure to check back for updates as Saturday's games go final and all weekend for final scores, stats, game recaps, photos and highlight videos.

Who was named Week 6's 'Football Player of the Week?'

Germantown Academy's Seamus Knox was voted the Courier Times/Intell's Football Player of the Week. Knox ran for 103 yards and 3 TDs as the Patriots topped Peddie School 37-27 and improved to 5-0. He received 41 percent of the vote.

Neshaminy’s Nick Buchys was a very close second with 39 percent of the vote.

Friday:

Bristol 27, Jenkintown 7

The Warriors, back after their first loss of the season followed by a week off, were eager to get back to business at home against their BAL rival Jenkintown. The Warriors once again racked up yardage on the ground, tallying 327 rushing yards. Kendlle Cottrell led the way with 302 total yards, including 202 rushing yards, and two touchdowns. Roshie Newkirk added 119 rushing yards on just 10 carries and two TDs.

The Warriors’ defense also turned in a standout performance. Brandon Anthony grabbed an interception, Jaylin Currington had seven tackles, and Collin Burnett, Trae Anthony and Xavier Shefyck had five tackles apiece. The Warriors held Jenkintown to seven points with two stops in the red zone and two goal line stands. Bristol will play Morrisville next Friday in a BAL matchup.

Quakertown 37, Bensalem 0

Fast starts are always ideal in football, and Quakertown got one on Friday night. The Panthers scored three touchdowns in the opening quarter and before they allowed a first down and cruised to a 37-0 victory over Bensalem.Panthers quarterback Vince Micucci highlighted a great night for the offense, throwing for 110 yards and two touchdowns and running for another 80 and a score. John Eatherton added 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns as the Panthers improved to 3-4 on the year.

Central Bucks West 22, Neshaminy 0

Ganz Cooper and Conor McFadden hooked up for three touchdowns in the first half and sparked Central Bucks West to a 22-0 win over visiting Neshaminy in a Suburban One National Division game Friday night. McFadden caught all four of Ganz's completions in the first half for 142 yards including scoring receptions of 23, 9 and 80 yards. It was also the second-straight shutout for the Bucks (4-3 overall, 3-1 National).

Council Rock North 20, Harry S. Truman 13

Gavin Papp scored three touchdowns on Friday night to help Council Rock North defeat Harry S. Truman, 20-13. Papp scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Julian Matera. Rondell Bradley Jr. scored twice for Truman. James Freeman made his debut as Truman coach, replacing Ben Johnson, who resigned on Thursday.

Palisades 42, Pen Argyl 14

Steve Lilly ran for four touchdown to help power Palisades past visiting Pen Argyl 42-24 in Colonial League action Friday night. Lilly, who finished with a game-high 96 rushing yards, scored twice in each half to help seal the win. The Pirates, under first-year head coach Bobby Smith, improved to 5-2 while the Green Knights slipped to 2-5.

Central Bucks East 42, North Penn 35

Ethan Shine amassed 264 rushing yards on 37 carries and scored four touchdowns on runs of 14, 7, 1, and 23 yards. He also intercepted a pass for good measure that ended North Penn’s final drive. Ryan Zeltt completed 21-of-35 passing attempts for 301 yards and three touchdowns to keep the Knights in the game. The win was the Patriots’ first against North Penn in over 20 years.

Souderton 45, Warwick 24

The Indians offense was electric tonight, scoring almost at will against their visitors from Lancaster County. Jared Zimmerman threw three touchdown passes, to Danny Dyches and one to Winday Dawson. The Indians were also good on the ground, with Christ Kerns, Shaun Purvy and Logan Wrubel scoring rushing touchdowns. Wrubel had the long score of the game with his 51-yard TD run. Ty Quintois added a field goal for the Indians. The Indians improved to 6-1 and will host Council Rock South (3-4) next week.

Upper Moreland 45, Wissahickon 21

Winless Wissahickon kept things close for a while, but the Golden Bears scored three straight touchdowns to put things away and improve to 6-1. Stephen Broderick, who already had multiple three-touchdown games this season, upped the ante with a four-touchdown outing. Broderick scored his first on a 30-yard pass from Shawn Herbert, then scored three consecutive touchdowns to close out the game. Hassan Johnson had two rushing touchdowns in the win. The Golden Bears will play Cheltenham next Friday.

Upper Dublin 16, Council Rock South 0

This one was a defensive battle, and the Golden Hawks were able to hold undefeated Upper Dublin (7-0), averaging 37 points per game, to their lowest points total of the season. The Cardinals’ defense was also very strong, holding CR South to 49 total yards. The Golden Hawks will have another tough matchup next week when they visit Souderton (6-1).

Lower Moreland 20, New Hope-Solebury 12

The Titans were facing a 12-0 deficit in the first half when they turned things around in a big way. Tommy Donnelly scored a five-yard touchdown on a pass from Brett Szarko for the Titans’ first score of the game, and Anthony Leonardi took off for a 50-yard score, but the Ghosts countered with Josh Young’s 22-yard TD reception to take the lead back. But the Titans scored 20 unanswered points from that point to take the win. Donnelly added another TD reception, this one from 60 yards, and Jack Carver had a 30-yard rushing score. It was Carver again late in the fourth, returning an interception for a touchdown to seal the deal.

For Abington, Ayden Turner returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown, and Jaime Rivera scored a 30-yard rushing touchdown.

Plymouth Whitemarsh 57, William Tennent 7

Roman Catholic 12, Archbishop Wood 7

The Vikings gave division-leading Roman Catholic a scare in a close contest. The Vikings’ defense and special teams were excellent once again, with a blocked extra point and Jimmy Wade and Daniel Tiburcio both grabbing interceptions. Ryan Wilson scored on a one-yard TD plunge, and Leo Ricci's PAT gave the Vikings a 7-6 lead.

Pennsbury 27, Pennridge 24

With 40 seconds remaining, Cade Gabbett came up with a game-saving interception on a Rams’ pass attempt on first down. Eric David intercepted a Rams’ pass attempt on the previous drive. The Falcons started the game with G Mulbah returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Mulbah later scored on a rushing touchdown, and Shane McGurrin ran one in from 50 yards. Brennan Fisher scored twice for the Rams, and Nate Mossbrook had a receiving TD.

Archbishop Ryan 20, Lansdale Catholic 17 (2 OT) 

Yeboa Cobbold and James Webb each scored a touchdown for the Crusaders in a highly competitive PCL matchup that took two overtimes to decide. Cobbold also had a stellar defensive outing, intercepting Ryan’s QB three times in the game. Jacahi Streeter compiled 130 total yards, while quarterback Cole Meehan passed for 182 yards and a touchdown. Logan Jeffrey booted two extra points and a field goal for the Crusaders.

Pennington School 38, George School 19

St. Joe’s Prep 40, La Salle 11

John Patrick Oates scored a rushing touchdown and converted a two-point attempt, but the Explorers weren’t able to overtake high-powered rival St. Joe’s Prep this time around.

Conwell-Egan 49, Cardinal O'Hara 6

The Eagles’ defense was relentless and the offense was nearly unstoppable in Conwell-Egan’s PCL win. Mekhi Harper returned an interception for a touchdown, and Gavin Pond came down with an interception as well. On the offensive side, Sam Cooper scored two touchdowns, including a 70-yard reception from Stephen Tryon. Colin Majors led the ground game with 163 yards, with Tayshaun Thenor adding 71 yards and Sincere Fairey running for 60 yards.
