FOND DU LAC - The Cardinals earned a wire-to-wire homecoming victory in the final regular-season game ever at Fruth Field to clinch a postseason berth.
Fondy quarterback Stephen Schreiter passed for 167 yards and touchdowns to Tyler Brandner and Max Mengel, while also running for another, to lead the Cardinals.
Brayden Eigenbrodt added 156 rushing yards, including 97 in the first half, along with a fourth-quarter touchdown. Tanner Dalske collected 96 total yards and the final touchdown of the game on a 1-yard carry.
Chase Brandl scored the Wildcats’ only touchdown in the third quarter on a 1-yard carry and freshman kicker Elliot Reed added a last-second 27-yard field goal at the end of the game.

OSHKOSH - The Lightning defense had four takeaways and four sacks in its victory over the Spartans at Titan Stadium.
Brock Salm had a 61-yard touchdown reception from Luke Kritzer and Jeremy Nelson scored on a 1-yard plunge for Appleton North (7-2, 6-2).
Appleton North’s Cal Hansen had five tackles, including two sacks.
DayShawn Henry had a 72-yard touchdown reception for Oshkosh North.

GIRLS TENNIS
WIAA State Tournament
MADISON - Ana Cristescu and Sophia Fergus of De Pere, and Keagan Potter and Kate Conger of Oshkosh West have advanced to the semifinals in Division 1 doubles at the state tournament at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Olivia Pethan of Fox Valley Lutheran has also advanced to the semifinals in Division 2 singles.
Cristescu and Fergus beat Tyra Gustavson and Molly Ryan of Madison West 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals to advance, while Potter and Conger beat Brianna Cimoch and Hannah Carroll of Franklin 6-2, 4-6, 10-8 in a quarterfinal match.
The doubles semifinals will be played at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
Pethan beat Aubrey Jayne of University School Milwaukee 6-1, 6-2 in a quarterfinal match.
The semifinals in Division 2 singles are scheduled for 9 a.m.
